The 45-Minute Sunday Plan: Run Your Week With AI
Free guide by AI with Zana · For busy parents and business owners · 45 minutes, once a week
Mondays feel chaotic when the week lives only in your head. This is a simple Sunday routine: four short prompts, about 10 minutes each. You finish with a meal plan, a shopping list, a realistic schedule and your top 3 priorities.
No apps to install. Just your AI assistant and your calendar.
Block 1: Brain dump (10 min)
Open a new chat and type (or voice-dictate) everything on your mind. Messy is fine.
Here's everything in my head for the coming week, in no order:
[dump: appointments, work tasks, kids' stuff, errands, worries]
Sort it into: Fixed appointments / Must do / Should do / Can wait.
Flag anything that has a hidden deadline or needs prep.
Block 2: Meals + shopping list (10 min)
Plan dinners for Monday–Friday for [number] people.
Preferences: [e.g. kids don't eat spicy, one vegetarian night].
Busy nights (max 20 min cooking): [days].
Reuse ingredients so nothing goes to waste.
Then give me one shopping list grouped by store section.
Tip: Tell it what's already in your fridge and it will plan around it.
Block 3: The realistic schedule (10 min)
Using my sorted list, build a realistic plan for the week.
My fixed hours: [work hours, school runs, gym].
Rules:
- Max 3 important tasks per day
- Leave one empty buffer block each day
- Put hardest work in my best energy time: [morning/evening]
Format: a day-by-day table.
Block 4: Top 3 + a reality check (10 min)
Looking at this week, what are the 3 things that would make it a
success if nothing else got done? Then tell me honestly: is this plan
realistic, or am I overloading myself? What should I drop or move?
Make it a habit
- Same time every Sunday, e.g. after dinner, with a cup of tea.
- Save the prompts in a note, or in a project called Weekly Reset, so you just paste and go.
- Friday 5-minute review: "Here's what I got done. What should I carry over, and what does that tell me about how I plan?"
Bonus: A kid-friendly version
Ask AI to turn the week into a simple picture schedule for kids: "Make a colourful weekly chart for a 6-year-old with emojis for each activity." Print it and put it on the fridge.
