YOUR AI STARTER CHECKLIST

You do not need a complicated stack. Pick one task you already do, use a tool to get a draft, and decide what is worth keeping.

1. Choose the task, then the tool

  • ChatGPT or Claude: brainstorm, organize, draft and critique words or ideas.
  • Canva AI: make a first visual direction, then refine the details yourself.
  • CapCut: speed up a rough video edit and captions.
  • Instagram Automations: explore how to deliver a resource after a comment, once the resource is ready.

Try one tool first. Adding five accounts in one day is usually a distraction.

2. Copy one of these prompts

To start: “Ask me five questions about [task], one at a time. Then help me make a simple first draft for [audience].”

To improve: “Here is my draft. What is unclear, missing or too generic for [audience]? Give me three specific changes.”

To act: “Turn this into three practical steps I can finish this week. Include the first 15-minute action.”

3. Your first week

  1. Day 1: write down one recurring task and what a good result would look like.
  2. Days 2–3: test one prompt using your real information. Remove private details you do not need to share.
  3. Days 4–5: check the output for accuracy, tone and missing context. Edit it yourself.
  4. Days 6–7: save the improved prompt and note what you changed. Use it again next week.

The win is a repeatable step that saves you effort, not a perfect answer on the first try.
